Bobbin Case, Class 15 #JO1313ZW

I bought two extra bobbin cases for my Kenmore 158.1774 so that I could have bobbin cases permanently adjusted with correct tension for the different thread weights I use. I adjusted the new bobbin cases for Mara 70 (tex 40) and Mara 50 (tex 60) respectively. The bobbin cases work perfectly - there doesn't seem to be any difference between them and the original bobbin case that came with my machine. It's handy to be able to pop a bobbin in without having to adjust the bobbin tension for a different thread weight.

I have a vintage machine that came with an old bobbin case. After struggling with setting the tension, I thought I'd try swapping the original case (which was clean, but ancient) for a new one. The issues magically evaporated, and my 65 y.o. machine sews like new. It's great to have a reliable source for parts that fit and work well.

In moving, I lost my Janome bobbin case. It is a discontinued model but the lovely customer service lady helped me locate the model number and within 4 days, I had the case, put it in, fitting perfectly, and was on my way to completing the project. Very please with this business.
