The Whetstone You’ve Been Searching For

As far as #2000 grit whetstone go, there’s not much out there. I did a bit of research and came across JCK. Not only did they have the coveted #2000 grit, but also one of the best stones I now own! I will admit, I’m a woodworker, and this stone is purely used for sharpening gouges and chisels, but it thoroughly excels at obtaining a razor sharp edge in no time flat.

The structure of the stone is very different from the stones # 400 / # 1200Whetstone, # 1000 / # 4000 Grit. The stone performs its functions well, but the surface is clogged quickly enough and cleaned poorly. The set includes nothing but the stone itself, while the # 400 / # 1200Whetstone, # 1000 / # 4000 Grit comes with rubber mats. I would like to have something to clean the stone in the set. In general, the choice of stones on the site is unfortunately small, I would very much like either the stones to come with stands or they can be purchased separately. Sincerely, Vladimir
