CCS Arca Swiss L-Bracket

Works, but…

I was excited when this came out because I use several other CCS products and I wanted an L-mount that was compatible with what I already owned. My camera is an OM-1mkii. As you can see, to get it to fit and not block the battery compartment, the bracket needs to be mounted offset, which means there’s a 1 cm gap between the vertical bracket and the camera, which turns out to be a good thing because it clears the camera strap loop. What bugs me, is that I can’t access the side compartments - the USB port, in particular. Not a huge deal but I have had a couple occasions where (through forgetfulness and equipment malfunction, I needed to recharge the camera battery using the USB port and now I either need to carry the Allen key or improve my memory and hope I don’t have another charger malfunction. Are people really mounting their hubs to the vertical bracket?

I have two of the CCS Arca Swiss L-Bracket and they are extremely well made and designed. I find them very useful for a variety of tasks.

Right angle adapter plate

I purchased this because I use the cotton carrier system and I also use the rapid strap sling. With this bracket I can use the cotton carrier mount, my tripod mount, and my rapid strap mount. I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of all of the cotton carrier products
