Beautiful square cheeses

I'm admittedly an amateur cheese maker, I haven't made the cheese this mold is named after. I'm really good at making Brie though and that's why I purchased these square molds. So far I've made 3 batches and they've all turned out amazing, and I have discovered by accident that it's easier for me to wrap the square ones. Quality is never a problem when I order from this website and this time was no different. I expect these molds will hold up for a very long time. They are made of a sturdy plastic and do not flex. There are convenient draining holes on all four sides for the whey. I give five stars, just buy some already they aren't expensive!

Nice Product!

When working with some cheeses, it's important to have the proper molds. I got a couple of these molds to make Feta cheeses, but also to use for a bloomy-rind cheese I am developing. The molds work great! The attached picture shows the mold with my bloomy-rind cheese right after it was ready to go into the cheese cave to start its affinage journey. I will use this mold for many years to come as it is very well constructed and is easy to clean and store.

Easy to use and seemingly indestructible!

I got this mold as I am experimenting with making a triple cream cheese which I wanted to have a square appearance. The ordering process was quite simple and it arrived at my house promptly. The product is made from thick plastic and you can see the reinforcing bars in the pictures on the web sites. Pouring the curds in to the mold is a simple matter, of course. The biggest "trick" is to remember that there is no bottom, top, or follower, so you have to make sure you know to have something to catch them before you make a mess! (is that the voice of experience? I leave that to your imagination! :-) ) When taking the cheese out and flipping it, or removing it to your cave, the mold does not grab on to the cheese, as the material it is made of is slippery enough. It cleans very easily and is ready for another use almost immediately. All in all, a very easy product to use and should last a lifetime. Worth a Five Star rating!
