Very beautiful!

This was the second figure skating leotard ever done and until two months ago I didn't even know how to sew! I made this dress for my daughter's next competition. Following the detailed instructions on the website, I slightly modified the original pattern to fit my daughter's measurements. I really like the result, thanks for the patterns!

Great pattern and easy to follow!

I made this for my little one's next skate competition. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I do think though, if I make this again, I will size it up one for her. it fits well and is very conforming, which she finds to be a bit snug in places. Though, their blog post on lengthening the leotard was super helpful! (Her torso is long, but she is tiny)

Lovely pattern

I used this pattern to make skating dresses for a ballroom scene in our ice show. I used the skirt from 2917 instead of the draped front skirt piece. The fit is generous - the skaters said they were comfortable and had a little extra room. The reason for 4 stars instead of five is the cut of the brief. Super high and not great coverage in back. I subbed in the brief portion from the ballet Leo (3349), and it was much better! I wish jalie would just use a more realistic brief on all their dress patterns, but until then, I’ll use 3349 on everything.
