Ilford Delta 400 - 120 Film

One of the best BnW films

This is the film I turn to when I'm shooting some special. Grain is small and images always look great.

Beautiful grain, appealing contrast

To confirm, this roll was pushed two stops, and it performed really well in my opinion. The two frames I've shared had slightly different lighting intensities. Both are lit with venetian blinds and sunlight only. My son was with diffused light (clouds), and my daughter got blasted with golden post-rain sunlight. In both instances, I love the result. When shooting in a high contrast environment, I like what happens. That being said, I'm delighted with the latitude available on the diffused portrait. The one thing I would say is that I didn't shoot any of this outdoors, so I can't speak to its performance there, but I will definitely be giving it another shot in the future.

For me, this is the GOAT of Ilford’s black and white film line up. Super high quality, beautiful tonality and contrast with minimal grain. Highly recommend
