Great shorts pattern

This is a great pattern for comfortable shorts. The instructions are nice and clear. I'd definitely recommend doing a muslin first, as per the instructions, as I found I had to add 2 inches to the centre front seam to stop the waist band sitting under my belly! I used medium weight denim which was a bit too heavy, especially for the gathered waist. Next time I will make the waist band as a casing with the elastic inside, rather than stitching through the elastic, to reduce the bulk and make it tidier inside.
