Candelaria's: Durango - Traditional Chile Seasoning

Works for both vegetarians and meat-lovers!

This is a winner. I made a Magdalena Big Cheese squash and bean soup, and used just this spice mix and some sauteed onions and garlic for seasoning. Excellent layered flavors! (MBC squash is similar to butternut squash.) Then I convinced my boyfriend to use it in his turkey and black bean chili. It made the dish 10X better :-) This mix has a mild kick that should appeal to a wide range of palates. (I haven't tried the other spice mixes, but I bet they're good too.)
