I have bought the cutting celery seeds for years. I use it fresh, frozen and dried as a celery replacement. It's great. I have planted the seeds I recently received, and they are growing nicely. I have always been pleased with the seeds I've ordered from Pinetree. The service is always great as well. I've never been disappointed.

Cutting Celery

Bought a packet of Cutting Celery seeds from your catalog. Had never heard of them before and thought we'd give it a try. The seeds were so small that I just sprinkled them into your Black Gold Seedling Mix using four 4" cow pots. When it was time to plant them outside, I put them into the ground in the pots and waited to see what would happen. Would they even grow after my haphazard way of starting the seeds? Yes, they sure did! The plants came up and I've used them in every recipe calling for regular celery (stems and leaves together). Didn't buy one bunch of celery at the store all season and am still picking cutting clelery out of the garden this month (December in Zone 6)! Going to buy more from your company for our 2023 garden. Great adventure and tasty plants!

Cutting Celery

I am growing several Cutting Celery plants in containers, with plenty of room, along with other veggies. It seems to be a little slow but I have never grown this before. It adds a very nice celery flavor to a salad. I like Pinetree because their lower prices make it acceptable to try something new rather than spend over $5.00 (plus shipping) when you only want a few seeds. (Same with Zucchetta RampicateTromboncino squash!).
