Black coat runner bean

The plants are very pretty on a trellis in my vegetable garden, As far as the beans go, I haven't cooked any yet, but they taste good raw! The appearance of the bean is unusual, like a black coat -- true to their name. I recommend this more for the flowers than for the beans.
