Very happy after first few bbqs. Well made. Recommend getting the manifold cover as extra. Makes cleaning a lot easier.

Good product but design issues

Self- assembly was fairly easy. Lots of component parts and I was slowed down by trying to find them as opposed to the build itself - beware of the hopper gasket which is easy to miss. Only one cook in which was rotisserie chicken tikka kebab using the MB rotisserie attachment. End product was tasty cooking without wood but will be much better with wood smoke addition. As you don’t cook directly over coals I think wood splits in the hopper or smoke tube are essential. Unfortunately rotisserie barrel is prone to expansion with heat and stops turning 360 during the cook. Common issue online and I can see the friction damage to the rotisserie barrel. Also probe temperatures don’t refresh on the app unless you force close and reopen it. Overall it is a massive upgrade from the kettle and useful for people who are time crunched. The start up times are incredible taking less than 10 minutes to get up to temperature and full control enabled from the app. The manifold cover is more expensive than replacing the manifold but I predict it will save a lot of time on the deep cleans. Lots of promise and looking forward to doing a proper cook on it.

Highly recommend

Very easy to use and the app makes setting and forgetting very handy. Build quality overall is ok, some screws from the partial assembly in the states aren't straight, but it doesn't affect use at all.
