Best nuc box for new beekeepers by far! Let me tell you why I think so
These are more than just a nuc box. They have so many options beyond, but let's start with the new beekeeper. Other nuc boxes are fairly snug to the frames and many new keepers may roll bees, including a queen just trying to get frames out. These, either side frame can be moved out to the wall and give an extra space, so even if they don't pull the side frame out first, they can make the space. Now, when you use these for splits, you can use the top feeder ports or you can put a frame feeder in since there is some extra space, and still have 4 frames in it. So let's talk about those 2 top feeder ports. You can open up one of the 2 sizes and use a standard soda bottle as your feeder, or use the larger one and use a gatoraide bottle if you want something a little larger. They seem to hold the bottles in quite well. now say you now don't need that feeder, but you cut the slots out? Well, simply put a fresh cap in the hole and it's now sealed back. Now you can open either end for access, or close down both for transport. The inside lid gives you all the instructions for all the options.

Great For Everything!
I use these to make splits and catch swarms. Happened to be in the store last week and I always grab a Pro-Nuc when I'm there. Today I was able to transfer a swarm directly into it in less than 20 minutes. Great for catching, splitting, and growing!

Title: Great Nuc Box Once You Learn the Feeding Setup
Review: I’ve been using the ProNuc for making splits and introducing queens, and overall I’m really happy with it. The box is lightweight, well insulated, and the ventilation options are a huge plus during warm weather and transport. The bees seem to regulate temperature well inside it, and it’s been working great for queen introduction setups. The biggest learning curve for me was the feeder system. The bottle feeder setup can be a little finicky at first depending on the bottle and cap you use, but once you get it dialed in, it works fine. I also like that there are multiple feeding options depending on how you want to run your nucs. Overall, it’s a solid option for anyone doing splits, raising queens, or building temporary nuc colonies. I’d definitely buy more of them.
