I purchased two pounds of wax to use with my foundation. I melted it and painted on the plastic. My bees loved it and started building on it almost immediately. It smells so good, I could not blame them :-)

20lbs Beeswax

I recently purchased a 20-lb block of beeswax and couldn’t be happier with the quality. I only needed a couple of pounds of it to re-wax over 90 medium frames, and it laid down a beautiful, even layer of wax on the foundation. The wax melts cleanly, spreads easily, and has that rich, natural beeswax smell that lets you know it’s the real thing. The aroma is fantastic—so much so that I even had a few curious bees stop by while I was working to check out the scent! That alone told me the quality was spot-on. The color and consistency were exactly what I was hoping for, and it’s clear this is pure, well-processed beeswax. With the amount I used for my frames, this 20-lb block will last me quite a while. If you’re a beekeeper looking for quality wax to coat foundation or for other hive uses, I would absolutely recommend this product.
