I have a ton of hive tool but purchased this one to qualify for free shipping on my order. But WOW! I am glad I did - this tool ha# a fantastic taper and is very sharp. Also, it is way more dense / thick/ sturdy than my other tools. It is now my go to hive tool! Also, the colors make it easier to find when dropped or more often, left behind. Thank you Hive Alive!

Extremely satisfied with the hive tool. Much more useful than any others for sale. The hook is so useful and the tool has a good weight to it for prying apart and lifting out frames. Won't buy any other brand from now on : )
