We are always improving things at Modern fuel and we are proud to now have the smoothest, quietest mechanism around. This version is made in one of Japan's oldest machine shops. It will fit all existing and new pen bodies.

Pen mechanism

When paying a premium price for and item, one expects premium service. That is exactly what I got when I found that my brass pen was experiencing some drag it the clicking action. Emailed and explanation of the problem and a new mechanism was on its way by Fedex the next business day.
