Superb quality and comfort, the best weeks sleep of my life!
My hammock arrived just in time for a week long camp trip. I strung up between a couple of trees along the river and was able to set up fairly quickly, now that I've had it set up once, it will be much faster from now on. A few of the days we had 55+ km/h winds, the supplied pegs and bungee cord for the tarp held it down perfectly, not once did the wind manage to pull any pegs. Most nights were 35-40 degrees celsius, and the cool breeze was able to flow freely through the fly net allowing me to be very comfortable. At some points the wind was so crazy that it was actually making me cold, luckily I had also purchased an underquilt, and despite it being the underquilt designed for -1 to -10 degrees celsius, I was able to use it in its loose setting, and created a perfect nest for myself, warm underneath and a nice cool breeze across the top was just right to regulate the temperature. I also purchased the blow up pillow, usually I wouldn't use a pillow in a hammock, or regular bed for that matter, but this pillow was so easy to inflate to exactly the right amount, and super easy to tweak whilst laying, allowing me to fine tune the pillow to be the most comfortable I've ever slept on. I am yet to use the windsock that I also purchased, but if it's anything like the rest of the setup, I won't have any troubles with it either. I woke up each morning in the exact same position as when I went to sleep in, for a solid 8-10 hours of pure, uninterrupted sleep, 6 nights straight. I am only disappointed that I don't have enough room to set the hammock up inside at home and sleep in it full time.
