I got the 2-piece snakeskins to use with my 3.5m x 3.5m tarp and they accommodate it easily. They certainly make it easier to stow the tarp while the wind's trying its best to whip it out of your hands and into your face... just start rolling the tarp at one end and start sliding that end's snakeskin along. The tarp is quickly brought under control. With both the snakeskins in place, the tarp is conveniently and securely wrapped up and ready to be taken down and stowed. Deploying the tarp is a simple matter of securing the ridgeline between the trees and tensioning it, then sliding the two snakeskins back to release the tarp. Was so impressed with the manufacturing quality of these snakeskins that I bought another set for my son's tarp.
