Masutani Tsuchime Nakiri 165 mm

Beautiful knife to look at but even more lovely to use. This is my vegetable cleaver, I like it very much. Smooth, clean cuts. Great for daily fruit and vegetable prep. I love it.

For the price this knife is fantastic. Unfortunately it is not perfect. The bolster is sharp in a pinch grip, so it's ok for short uses, but painful for prolonged uses. It is also not flat enough to push cut my green onions all the way through the green part, I need to rock it to get sharp cuts. I guess I might try to shape it to my taste in the future and it won't hurt too much my wallet if I screw up.

Great knife. So incredibly sharp. Perfect for chopping lots of vegetables
