Great Gift for All Outdoor Trips

I brought this as a gift for my Dad's Birthday. He was thrilled when he opened it. Most of all, he was impressed on how easy it was to assembly it and more happy to take a nap underneath the Hammock's "in-house" shade. Great for going to the beach and camping! Highly recommend it!

Love it but can’t assemble

This was a replacement for an old one (pre canopy) we had for many years which finally tore. We love the new style with the canopy feature, and the extra padding makes it softer to lay on than the old version! HOWEVER—the problem is that I can’t assemble it by myself. Either this is a defect, because you made the material too tight on this one, or this is a flaw in the new design. It took us together 29 minutes just to get the metal hooks to stretch over the posts! The legs wouldn’t straighten because it was too tight! We finally got it to snap open. Then, since I like to take it down on rainy days and during the week when we won’t be using it, to make it last..but I have to struggle and use WD40, a screwdriver and pliers to try and pull the ring off the post to get the hammock off!! It’s ridiculous! We’ll have to figure a way to modify it so it’s easy to assemble and disassemble for one person like the old one was. Even with two people it’s a struggle!! Other than that, it’s a very nice, good looking, quality product!

Great product

I received the Collapsible Large portable folding hammock with removable canopy just a few days before my wife's birthday. I was happy about that. I had a product like the several years ago. The hammock has a couple of changes in the way it opens. I really like the framework now. Macsports did a great job. I'm happy. I'm going to contact them to possibly get a replacement hammock to use on my old worn out hammock. Great Hammock, Thank you. Mike Allan
