Although this is my first batch of black raspberry wine from the fruit base that I ordered,and it is still in the carbuoy, I did taste it the first time I racked it and it had a good raspberry taste. I look forward to tasting it when it is finished. I know I’m gonna love it

Ingredient lable shock

I was not happy to read the ingredient list and discover my Black Raspberry is mostly apple and pear juice with regular raspberry near the bottom of the list and elderberry added to give it the dark color. Corn syrup as a fermentable sweetener is also not a plus. I try to avoid the stuff. Kit looks foolproof + easy.
