Forclaz Travel 100 Compact Waterproof 20 L Hiking Backpack

I am very impressed! I bought this for an upcoming trip to Panama. I travel light with just one underseat personal bag in the airplane. Then I'll use this pack as a day bag to carry a rain jacket, snacks, battery pack, map and my water bottle [outer pocket] for all my day activities shopping, exploring, hiking, canoeing. It packs down very small and super lightweight but has a substantial amount of room when opened up. It says it is water resistant, which I needed, and shoulder straps are a comfortable and sturdy mesh design which will be great for a hot rain forest climate to prevent sweating. I appreviate the chest strap for security and weight distribution. The pocket it is stored in is part of the bag which becomes the interior pocket of the pack when its in use. Efficient design. I will be using this for many trips to come. Since my partner and I will each have one I just wish it came in more color options. Like Navy, burgundy, forest green, etc

I got to try this pack put on a 3-day backpacking trip and it was amazing. Normally I would have put into my Gregory 75L backpack what i needed for a day hike. The oack weighed more than what I carried. I had a bunting jacket, a liter water bottle, a 100-500 lens and food. We went peak bagging from camp with this in it and it preformed incredibly. I highly recommend this pack.
