Espresso Brown Healthy Color Duo

Perfect Brown!

I was nervous to do any color to my hair. I have spent a few years now growing it out and had completely stopped using color. I have curly hair and started getting quite a few grey hairs. I didn't mind it at first but I decided that I wanted to color my hair without the damage. I didn't mind if not all of them were covered. Enter Espresso Brown! I spent so much time on the site looking at two different options but ultimately decided on the Espresso Brown color. It looks like hair that I was born with! The perfect deeper brown without looking brown/black. I have light skin tone with green/grey eye color and it warmed up my skin tone and made my eyes stand out more. I highly recommend this color!

Espresso Brown over brown and brassy

This mask worked great to cover my grays up front to blend in for a while and cover the bad brassiness from years ago on the ends. The darkness only lasted one wash before it got significantly lighter on the ends. Immediately used the depositing conditioner but not sure what that did as I think id have to use half the tube to see it help. Extremely messy with my long hair, but I will find a rhythm to do it often so I don't have to use permanent dye much anymore and see a bag demarcation line.

It covered grays well. I want to try the new mushroom brown.
