definitely recommend for sensory issues!
I get pretty easily overstimulated by loud and/or repetitive noises, especially if it's like dogs barking or kids crying or a really loud alarm ringing (and especially if I'm already overwhelmed in other ways). Usually to deal with this I'd have to put in headphones or earbuds and blast music super loud to drown it out, because even just putting in the earbuds would muffle things but muffle everything equally? So that I could still hyper-fixate on whatever annoying sound and it would drive me over the edge. Honestly I was kind of a little skeptical that these would help in those exact scenario because I thought there was no way I'd be able to not have the music to drown out the rest of the sound. However, I've found that they way exceeded my expectations and somehow muffle all of the background noise to a quieter degree than things right next to me. My upstairs neighbors have a dog and the day after I got these it was barking too loud and I was woken up by it in the morning and usually I have a really hard time falling back asleep if its still going, but I was able to slide these in and it was muffled enough that I could still vaguely hear it, but the irritating edge was way taken off and I fell right back asleep in a few minutes. They're also super comfortable, usually earbuds get uncomfortable after a little while and same with over-ear headphones, but I haven't had any issues with these. I also bought the loop link thing so that I can pretty much constantly have it around my neck for access at any time, and it's been super useful; they stay on the link and don't have issues falling off, and the link itself has pretty strong magnets so I'm not concerned about it slipping off my neck even when I sleep either (though its not a choking risk because if I roll over and pull on it or something the magnets would separate). So I just have it constantly around my neck dropped inside my sweatshirt or something and have found it incredibly easy to pull out and put in when I have sensory issues. The case they came in is also super tiny and I keep it on my keychain! Obviously I haven't really needed to use it since they're on my neck at all times, but it's smaller than I even expected, like maybe the size of two quarters in diameter? So if you don't want them around your neck it would be easy to carry around. All in all, definitely recommend! Even if you sometimes just get a bit overwhelmed in a loud room, this has helped massively with that and I don't have to leave to take a walk or anything like that to get some quiet.

Don’t like so far. Uncomfortable & don’t work as advertised
I hesitated for months before purchasing the Loop Switch 2 earplugs because they are so expensive. They took 7 business days to arrive (not 3-5 as advertised. ) So far, for me, they are uncomfortable and don’t work as advertised. I have tried to wear them in a restaurant to be able to “engage” in conversation while blocking out all of the background noise, and I just ended up saying, “What?” to my date every time he spoke because I couldn’t hear him & was still distracted by the background noise & was figiting with the earplugs because they are uncomfortable. I have also tried to wear them on a road trip and to sleep in them. I find them uncomfortable & they don’t work. I have gone back to the cheap foam earplugs and will most likely return the Loops. I am disappointed because I really hoped that these were going to help me.

Dental Hygienist using ultrasonics
Im completely satisfied with the Loop Switch 2. They are comfortable to wear and fits snugly without the worry of popping out. I purchased for a high pitched work environment whereby I still need to engage with patients.
