Great new pipe tool

The tool is as described. A fine example of high quality knife-craft. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. It's a bit larger than other such tools and will, I think, sustain a good deal of "pocket change grind" over time. I may be looking to get one of the cases Laguiole offers but perhaps not as it would interfere with its frequent use. I expected it would be hard to close and it is, but getting easer as time goes by (I smoke 3-4 pipes a day). I took advantage of having my name (laser) etched on the blade; good job! It hasn't supplanted my other pipe tool yet. Perhaps I will reserve this one for weekends... Perhaps Laguiole plans to offer it in mammoth tooth? I would be interested
