Great everyday bike

I own two mountain bikes and a road bike, but I'm embarrassed to say I've still been driving a lot for errands, even close to home. I was looking for a relatively lightweight, stylish Amsterdam-style bike for trips to the store, friends' houses, the gym, etc. The V7i has been the perfect solution. I ride it almost everywhere I used to drive. It has no quick-release anything, pedals that work with any shoes (including flip-flops), a chain guard to keep grease of my clothes, and a comfortable upright riding position. And it's great looking (i chose British racing green). The seven-speed internal hub works great. You can shift even at a dead stop. I highly recommend the V7i for commuting, errands, and fun trips around town. The folks at Mike's in midtown were great. They set up my new bike, helped me choose accessories (lock, rack, bottle cage, etc.). If you're looking for a versatile, everyday bike, this one may be just the ticket.
