Very high quality tree. Much more mature than I thought it would be. I topped it at 3ft to to start the vase shape I'm looking for with a lower canopy but even as is, it was very well shaped. Will take a couple years to fruit but that was my decision to top it.

Lookin’ Good!
The tree I received is very sturdy and well branched. The roots are also sturdy and well formed. Appears to be a healthy tree and if it has the promised resistance to leaf curl I will be a happy man!

Wonderful "Indian Free" peach in South PA, Zone 7A.
I planted " Indian Free (Stone)" peach from Raintree Nursery in spring of 2024. In a season of 2024, it grew above 5 ft and flowered in next spring (2025). "Hardired" nectarine and “Frost” peach are "Indian Free’s" neighbors, blooming time of all 3 trees overlapped very well therefore crosspollination was efficient. The fruit set of “Indian free” was so heavy that intense fining was necessary. Fruits started ripening by the beginning of September and were ready in 2-3 weeks. In my case the skin of peaches were entirely colored in burgundy-crimson color with just few fruits having minor white/uncolored spots. While coloration of fruit pulp was highly variable, ranging from almost entire burgundy color (the cut-a-half peach resembles a giant black cherry from inside…) to significant white pulp zone around the pit (20-30% of all pulp of the fruit). Please see photos uploaded for illustration. The taste of fruits is amazing, more tart than typical peach (in my case “Frost”), but sweet enough to balance that additional acidity, with rich and complex peach flavor and nice berry-like aftertaste which resamples raspberries or blackberries. Juiciness is higher than of typical peach as well. "Indian Free" peach tree is incredibly resistant to Peach Leaf Curl disease with just a few deformed leaves (which survive almost to the end of the season) with very healthy-looking foliage. Resistance level of "Indian Free" is significantly higher than “Frost’s”.
