Love the light weight
I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s soooo much easier to control than my other 3 fiddlerman bows ( original carbon fiber, weave and hybrid). Not that those aren’t my workhorse practice bows and work fine, but this Pro is such a perfect weight. It’s balanced and I can control it easily. It’s a breeze to play fast fiddle passages with it. Case is beautiful as well. I’m quite happy with it. I just finished 1st year of lessons, practice about 3-4 hours/day. I suspect this bow will take me easily thru next year or so before I want/need upgrade. Looking forward to practicing with it.

Bought 3 of these!
I've bought three of these bows! How is that, you may ask? I've played folk fiddle for 40 years, and have a good-size collection of mediocre wood bows, and several hundred-dollar carbon fiber bows. I've been longing for a really good bow for quite a while, but not wanted to spend big bucks, especially on an experiment that may or may not succeed. But I recently saw a rave review of this bow on Violin Lounge, and that swayed me, so I bought one. The jump in quality from anything else I had was enormous. Then I realized that I should upgrade my backup bow. (I always carry at least one backup bow to gigs. Twice in my life I've had a catastrophic bow failure in a gig and was glad I had a backup.) But I didn't want to spend another pile of cash, so I bought a JonPaul Matrix bow to be my backup. Don't get me wrong... the Matrix bow is very good, certainly better than any of my older bows, and doubtless worth the price. But it was nowhere near the quality of the Fiddlerman Pro bow, and I got to thinking that if I had to resort to it as a backup bow at a gig, I would really miss my Pro bow. It's gotten me very spoiled. So I swallowed hard, reminded myself that it's just money, and forked out a wad of cash for a second Pro bow. I may never play it; it may sit in my case for the rest of my life. But it's a comfort knowing that it's there if I need it. Then I showed my new bow to my girlfriend, also a longtime folk musician. She didn't even need to try it. When she took it from me she just waved it back and forth in the air and her jaw dropped. She grabbed her fiddle and played a fast tune, then looked at me with wide eyes and said, "I LOVE this bow!" Her birthday is next week, so guess what I bought her. This really is an amazing bow. I've never played anything like it. Granted, I'm not a serious classical musician, and I've had precious little formal training. But I have played hot fiddle tunes for forty years, and I can say that I have more speed and agility with this bow than any I've ever tried.

Wow, that’s a nice bow!
Bought the Fiddlerman Pro series carbon fiber bow. Arrived today. This is really a nice bow. Forty year fiddler here, folk music only. I am loving the resonance and feel of this bow after only a few hours. This thing is an excellent value. I hate buying sight unseen but felt comfortable with Fiddlerman return policy. For sure I won’t be returning this bow.
