Learning how this knife is—which is great so far. It's very light and nimble, and sharpens to a very fine edge (It is quite sharp out of the box, but can be tuned further). I appreciate the curve of the blade, as I often 'rock' while slicing. With that said, this knife also works well as a 'chopper' when working with say, green onions, and using the area near the heel of the blade; pieces chop cleanly through with minimal effort. In fact, that sums up the performance of this knife—minimal effort to slice, rock, or chop—from tip to heel. And it's beautiful to look at as well :-)
