Excellent Cables for an Excellent Price

I purchased the AAC IC-3 cables for a newly aquired Technics SL-50C turntable to use with it's built in phono preamp. I was not disappointed! Right out of the bag I noticed a huge difference over my old phono cables. I had installed a pair of AAC Copper Cryo speaker cables several weeks before I got the IC-3 interconnects, and was AMAZED at the overall change in my entire system. It was like I had upgraded all my equipment. So I decided to try the IC-3 and find out what improvements they made over the old cables. Well, everything improved even more! Vocals are warmer, clearer and more forward in the soundstage. And speaking of soundstage, between the AAC speaker cables and the AAC interconnects, the soundstage width is now well beyond the outer edges of the speakers, with much better depth and separation of instruments and vocals. I'm hearing more individual instrumentation, as well as discovering details in the music I've never really heard before. Cymbals are natural, not bright. Guitars and keyboards are noticibly warmer, which is what I like. Sitting here listening to Rory Gallagher Live in San Diego 1974, and his guitar is absolutely captivating! The LP sounds so much better with the IC-3 cables. Almost forgot, the bass is pronounced and punchy, not muddy or overpowering. I'm a big fan of bassists such as Les Claypool, Jaco Patorius, and Percy Jones. And to hear the bass the way it's supposed to sound made a big impression. Overall, I highly recommend the IC-3 interconnects. They are worth much more than you pay for them. Quality and workmanship are fabulous. And Rob Fritz was a big help in my decision to buy these cables. Thank you, Rob for answering all my questions and the fast shipping of my cables. Top notch!
