A Lovely DAC/Semi-Pre
After reading many positive and detailed reviews of the Divinity DAC, I decided to order one from Rob. Purchase was smooth and Rob has been very communicative. I received the DAC and set it up for initial listening. I drove it with my Moon MiND2 streamer connected to a Pass F6 Clone. Right out of the box it was a little tight. I've broken in many pieces of gear over the years and fully expected this. Within a few hours, it began to open up. I then connected the Divinity to my Nilai stereo amp. With about 75 hours on the DAC, it's clear the Divinity + Nilai make a great pair. I am very happy with this DAC's performance and presentation. I am currently working toward 200 hours before comparing to my Micromega M-One 150. This unit is a fine piece with a well implemented AKM DAC. I am very pleased with my purchase and my interaction with Rob at Audio Art Cable! TZ

Resolving R2R Garlubidor Divinity Dac
I don't like clinical or analytical dacs, too harsh on my ears. I've tended to tube type sound and my last dac was a modified PS Audio Directstream I got in a trade. I thought it sounded pretty good. Then I came across some video reviews of the Garlubidor (where do they come up with these names?) Divinity and it seemed to be what I was looking for: an R2R with detail, neutral but not harsh. That is exactly what this dac is. I'm hearing a similar sound to the PS Audio in terms of musicality but I'm getting a boost in the resolution without adding any harshness. So musical and resolving. That's exactly what I wanted and I got with the Garlubidor Divinity.
