Atypical Review
System changes implemented all at once, when the Pontus 15th arrived shortly after a Galion TS P75 preamplifier. And I also added a Verita Optimus 50 I2s cable. None of these improvements are burned in. Yet, the overall objective seems to be met and that includes Cryo Copper speaker cables powering the panel part of Martin Logan ESL Classic 9s. There is a richness without loss of clarity - a fullness absent before the changes. Soundstage may not be any closer, but it sure seems deeper. Art Blakey is way in the back now while horns are nicely placed forward on Jazz Messengers. A marginal quality rip and burn of The Rippingtons Topaz is 'big' sounding. And the Russ Freeman acoustic work still shines, but electric work seems lower in the presentation. Pretty sure in about a month this system will sound ridiculously good compared what it was before the changes.

Outstanding product and service!
`I recently purchased a loom of cables from Rob, and could not be any more pleased. These cables are my first foray into high-end cables, and I wanted to find the sweet spot where I knew I was getting a quality product but not paying so much that I would be disappointed not to discern a difference in my listening. The first hint of improvement came before my stylus hit the vinyl - the lights on both my Panamax power conditioner and my EAT Glo-S phonostage were noticably brighter after I installed my new power cables, as if they had more fuel bering fed to them. The audible changes to my rig were immediately appreciated - I listen to a lot of Blue Note jazz, and want to hear the upright bass being plucked. Not only am I hearing increased clarity in the low end, I'm heading a roundness to the notes that much more closely approximates what I hear when I'm playing next to an upright. In the mids, horns and guitars all sound more three-dimensional and seem to have more air around them. Cymbal decay is delightful, and drums are bright without being fatiguing. And the vocals - I can hear more breath sounds now and, like the horns, voices seem to have more air around them now. As if these changes weren't enought to make me a convert for life, Rob Fritz is everything that I've read about him - super smart, patient, helpful, and generous. I will not hesitate to buy all my cables from Rob from now on, and I'd encourage you to do the same. Give Rob Fritz and Audio Art Cables a try - you won't be disappointed! My only regret is that I live thousands of miles from the west coast and can't invite Rob over to hear for himself!
