AAC Statement Digital Cable with BNC to RCA

A Bit Underwhelmed

Rob, Candidly, this statement cable provided the same sound quality as a 20 year old Belden digital cable I had in storage with a BNC adapter. I had higher expectations for the Statement cable. However, I did read the literature provided by AAC which recommends some break-in time. I have listened to roughly 30 hours with the new cable and tough to decide whether sound quality is improving. I will continue to evaluate. I am considering and exchange for a D1-SE2 series cable with either gold or silver terminations to prevent the “overpurchase" in my mind. While the .5M length works in my system, in hindsight I may have been better off with 1M length. As you can tell through the purchase process I have a lot of patience and willing to work with AAC for any suggestions once reading this review.
