Kawashima Chef's Knife - 8"

Great for the price point

It’s a nice enough knife. Definitely different compared to my Miyabis. The handle just feels more plastic and not as weighted. For the money though, the knife performs well.

Wicked sharp. The handle is really comfortable. The service in ordering and delivery was impeccable.

Could be better.

Expected the handle to be real wood. It does not feel like it is. And after 2 uses on vegetables like tomatoes and onion. . . basically I made Pico and the blade already has 2 chips in the edge. It's pretty. But I expected more durability out of it.
