IRIS - Precision Tool for Drawing Circles

Incredible tool, highly precise and infinitely less finickey than other systems especially for smaller circles where standard compasses tend to struggle. Peerless visual design, looks like a futuristic religious artifact and has found a place on my desk of appropriate corresponding reverence. A bit ot a learning curve involved to get uniform circles with a mechanical pencil since the aperture isn’t flush to the page, and for my friends with less finger strength/arthritis the mechanism can be very hard to operate but I expect the system will break in with further use and possibly a little gun oil. Overall, one of the most treasured items I own, expecting to pass this one down as a family heirloom some day_

In addition to the Iris I've received the Elipso today and plan to collect the other tools and accessories in due course. I don't really have any use for these other than to admire and handle them, they're so tactile and pleasing to the eye. I need to find a suitable wooden box to keep them in, or I could just leave them on my desk to distract me! Maybe consider producing a sliding caliper at some time to go with the ruler?
