Works great in the Gigawort

I've used this four times now in my Gigawort brew kettle and its awesome for cooling down the wort to get the yeast pitched. I'm lucking to brew in my cellar right next to a huge sink, where I usually refill plastic gallon bottles I buy my water in. Then I use those to water the vegetable plants outside. I hate wasting water. But this will bring down the temp to 75 pretty quick. Just did a batch of the Summer Shandy yesterday and this cuts my cooling time pretty well. Makes the small home brewers job a little easier.

Easier than ice bath

It cools the wort rapidly. It rinsed quickly and easily in cold water. This is easier than using an ice bath and cools two gallons in under 10 minutes.

Great quality but pretty short

I had previously been wort chilling by ice bath immersion, so this was a major step up from that! My only complaint is that the coils are pretty short in height, so they sit at the bottom of my 5 gallon bucket. Since hot water rises, after about 5 minutes the bottom of my bucket is completely cooled, the top is still boiling hot, and there's no convection happening. I have to manually hold the wort chiller up towards the top of my bucket to finish the cooling process.
