Great Addition

Just installed this kit. The residual fuel runs the generator for a minute or two. Press the handy "off" switch and you can kill the power immediately, if there is a need. I like this much better than opening the case, finding a suitable container and draining the fuel. It is also so much better than leaving fuel in the carb and forgetting about it!

Necessary addition for Honda eu1000 generator

Exactly the needed modification to an Honda eu1000 generator, to allow engine to run and empty carburetor after turning off fuel valve. Currently turning off fuel valve also turns off engine also leaving fuel in carburetor, not a good idea if the generator is going into disuse for sometime. This is a very well made, quality accessory, separating fuel shutoff from engine shutdown.

And just like that, my Honda eu2000i has what it should have come with; the ability to burn the fuel from the carb, without opening up the case and draining it manually. Thanks Hutch Mountain!
