Different and delicious!

Unlike Spanish/Portuguese versions, this chorizo does not rely on garlic and smoked paprika for its signature flavor; what you taste is the pork itself. I microwave a sausage like this for 1 minute (to heat up the inside), then pan-fry for 3-5 minutes; the result is unexpectedly juicy. A great addition to any sausage platter!

Very tasty

I was expecting these to be overpoweringly salty and spicy like other chorizos I've had in restaurants. Instead, these came out nice and tender, just enough of the typical chorizo spiciness to make me happy, and just the right amount of saltiness to enjoy with mash potatoes and green peas for a gourmet "bangers and mash" meal.
