Colombia - San Roque

​I recently ordered the Fall Blend, but it is definitely not a medium roast. The beans are far too dark and taste intensely over-roasted and bitter. I usually love coffee from La Colombe, making this the first time I've been genuinely disappointed by one of their blends. I am not sure if a dark roast was packaged by mistake, but I won’t be buying this blend again. Columbia single origin is amazing as always.

Not a lighter roast coffee, but still good

This coffee is advertised as a lighter roast, but it is definitely a dark roast. It’s almost black in color. When I think of lighter roast coffee, I think of a lighter brown color. It tastes dark as well. Nonetheless, it’s still good!

Review

This coffee is very good, but LaColombe's quality of service has slipped over the years. I have been a subscriber for >10 years now. Communication with customers and even the way this product is received...sometimes vacuum packed and sometimes not.
