Simple with the correct tools

We followed the instructions provided which resulted in a near-perfect install. This is easily achieved by taking your time, and an additional set of hands helps. That said, the right tool helps a lot. This is thin wood so go slow while cutting. I used a jigsaw with a thin blade for most of my cuts which helped a lot. I also had a miter saw, but the blade was a bit aggressive, leading to split boards if I cut too quickly. Overall a great product and I would recommend it.

Fire place surround

I'm pretty happy with the finished product. The adhesion for the tape is excellent and the look is good. The planks are not very durable and they are not all milled perfectly. I started with perfectly level rows and would end up with uneven gaps after a few rows. It is definitely necessary to paint the wall behind the planks to conceal bright color behind where this a small gap.

Very happy with the outcome, but beware of quality concerns

Excellent selection of colors/materials which is why I chose Stikwood above other brands, but I was a little disappointed with the quality. They were thinner than the others, which meant they splintered much easier when cut. Several of the boards were split lengthwise upon delivery, but I required a lot of small pieces, so it didn't turn out to be an issue. They've been installed for a couple of months and the adhesion quality is good.
