Micro-Mat Hydroponic Confetti

A little goes a long way

I Have only used it twice, both for sunflower sprouts. And it's worked ok. They haven't turned out great, it is hard to separate the confetti from the sunflower roots. But it definitely works. I think I have to keep using it.

Love this stuff

First time I’ve used the confetti to grow microgreens. It works super great. My microgreens are growing better than they ever have in soil. I highly recommend this product in combination with the self-watering microgreen trays.

NOT for Microgreens

My first experiences with this product has not been good for the use as a microgreens medium. As the greens grow, they push up the confetti pieces and the medium becomes unlevel. This makes it terribly hard to harvest. Also, the confetti almost melts or disintegrates over time leaving very fine particles of the medium in your harvested product. Maybe this product would be better as a "soil" mixture for regular plants to retain moisture. I will continue experimenting with this product to see if I can get better results.
