I’ve always grown my grass with soil until now. Though I love the toil with the soil, in these “historic times,” the hydro approach makes life a little easier. Five days from unpacking to juicing...can’t beat that.

Newbie!!

I moved to an area where I can not find wheat grass, so I decided to grow it myself. I completed my first tray. Not bad results for my first attempt. I went with the hydroponic kit. It was easy. However, will probable switch to soil, since the hydroponic are only good for 1 use. Everything needed to get started was in the kit. I did have a mold issue. Have to read more on how to prevent that.

The kit may be great but so far no luck growing wheatgrass but I don't intend to give up. 1st batch I kept too warm and it molded. 2nd batch just isn't growing like it should. I kept it at a good temp and tried not to overwater. I have one package left and for 3rd batch I intend to grow in a soil base and see if that improves the growth. It probably is just be my technique but people make it look so simple.
