First Install

With all the videos on You Tube the install was pretty easy. This unit went into the master. We live in Redding Ca. and it gets hot. The sq. ft. of the space is 350 sq. ft, and this 9000 btu can easily cool this space on low speed. The wife is thrilled with it. When we got to bed, we set the whole house a/c temp to 80 and she sets the bedroom to 68 and has not had heat flashes since.

Cracking and popping noises

I am happy with the performance of the unit, but what I don’t like about it is that sometimes it makes cracking and popping noises when there is temperature changes, and sometimes you can hear the fan with a sound that can be bothersome.
