I ordered it on Tuesday and it was shipped the same day! Great. Arrived on Thursday (from California to Florida)! Also great. The head is a perfect fit and sounds just wonderful -- very bright and lively. By the way my banjo (Richelieu plectrum) calls for a low crown head. I could not find one on the internet so I ordered the medium crown head from Deering. It fits with no problem and does not come close to "bottoming out" when tightened. So, if you need a banjo head for a Richelieu, the medium crown works as well as a low crown. Another point of interest -- initially, after much searching I WAS able to find a low crown "Kevlar" banjo head (from a different supplier, not from Deering), and I tried that first. It fit with no problem but the sound was not satisfying to me at all -- didn't ring -- very dull sound. That's when I tried the medium crown Deering head with great results.

I ordered the wrong size head and had to return it... The customer service I received during the process was nothing less than stellar. They are a real class act!
