Like the head. Lots of similarities to old calfskin heads tone wise. Do not like the price. Not sure it’s worth $50 when you can buy Remo’s white suede for $30 with similar acoustic results.

Well made. Color is a little different than expected from looking at pictures of it, as others have mentioned. I have not installed it yet on the Deering Hartford 24. I am going to try a set of Deering Julia Belle strings with it on that banjo.
