This is the old fashioned hollyhock found in grandmother's garden. Plants are at least 8' tall and covered with 4" blooms in many colors. Very hardy in zones 3-9, Antwerp will not flower until the second year.

NEVER disappointed
I have often ordered from Pinetree Seeds over the decades and have never been disappointed by the quality and selection of their seeds. They have proven consistently that they know what grows best in our region. A wonderful small business!!

My first attempt to grow hollyhock. Seeds germinated flawlessly. The plants have grown. I have not gotten a bloom yet. I got started late in the season. It has gotten really hot here in zone 8. I may get blooms when it cools down a bit. Regardless, I am giving it 5 stars and I will try them again earlier in the spring. I may read up on hollyhocks also. I am a novice grower.

Antwerp hollyhock
I seeded in different varieties of hollyhocks, including Antwerp. Some didn't germinate, but not sure if was the Antwerp variety.
