Bloomed first year!
Winter sowed half the seeds, started other half inside under lights in late February. EVERY seed germinated! Hardened off and planted out mid May in my Zone 6a garden. To my surprise and delight, they began blooming in mid-late July! Most grew to around 4 ft tall, and standing up without staking. Bees love their lovely open 'faces'! Still blooming early October. Gorgeous color and easy to grow..gotta love them!

Hollyhock - Creme de Cassis
As usual, I have been very pleased with Pinetree Garden Seeds. Every seed I planted germinated. I followed instructions and just laid them on top of seed starting mix. All have now been transplanted into my English-Style Garden. Look forward to seeing them bloom--even if I have to wait until next year. Perennials take patience.
