Hopi blue dent corn
My father is 94 years young; and was so excited when we found this type of corn as it brought back memories of his grandmother’s garden with this type of delicious corn in it! We are new to Pinetree this year; and thus far we are very pleased with the ordering, customer service, and soon to happen - harvest time!

Good Seeds
I grew this as a sweet corn to test how it would do. The cobs are thin. Kernels are mostly bluish-white . It is mealy if used for a sweet corn and starts to dent quickly ( because it is designed as a field corn). Does produce offshoots. Tolerated heat index of 114 degrees in zone 9a with no curling and low watering. High heat and humidity did affect pollination but overall it is an excellent heat tolerant corn heirloom variety.

Nice selection of seeds, good prices, fast shipping. I've never had a problem with germination.
