Fit well with down socks to convert thwm feom sleeping wear to lounge wear. These are not intended for work. Thats what boots and shoes are for. These are perfect for intended use; sitting around the camp stove, watching sunset/sunrise/stars and nocturnal calls of nature.

Nice concept, poor execution

I wanted to like these. I even went as far as to contemplate modifications in order to keep them, but gave up & returned them in the end. I don't know what creature has the wedge-shaped feet these booties were patterned after, but it's not human. The excess fabric on the sides will catch on everything. The removable insole is cut too short to protect your feet. I live in the realm of rocks, roots, and mud, so I didn't like that the insole allowed my toes to hang off the front without protection. I attempted to make a removable foam insole that fit better inside the booties. That solved the toe problem, but the minimal cords used for cinching the booties onto your feet couldn't handle the slight increase in weight, and the booties flopped around and came off. This was the point I decided that if I was going to work this hard, I should make my own and not pay for these.

Perfect for stepping outside the tent quickly to take care of whatever business you may have. Feet and down booties inside them stay nice and dry. You do feel the cold from the ground and they are quite slippery on snow, so I wouldn’t recommend taking more than just a few steps in them.
