Purpose Driven Pants

These are advertised as being optimized for moving in the backcountry under pack and they fill that role very well. I backpacked into the Uintas and summited a 13er and the little details made a big difference. The low profile, built in belt with no snap makes the pants comfortable under a pack. The large side zips on the leg help to regulate temp and makes them very breathable when needed. The material is tough but has tons of stretch so mobility isn't hindered at all. The pocket layout is nice and I like the option for knee pads. The athletic fit is spot on for me, they fit my waist and legs. I have well muscled legs and many brands either fit my waist but the legs are way too tight or the legs are good but the waist is way too big. These just fit. Like everything else I have from stone glacier, these were designed by people who know from experience what needs to be there, don't add gimmicks, and focus on quality.

I like the style, which fit well for hiking and hunting

I own and have hunted in all of the premium mountain hunting pants out there. These are superior in many ways. I especially like their odd number sizing. This really allows me to get the correct fit.
