Forged Base Socks

Good So far

I have used these on a cow elk hunt/pack out and when working as a forester in the Rockies. Comfortable, fit well, where the different materials are used make a lot of sense. The socks didn't stay up on my calf muscles and slipped down. I have never had a set of socks stay up when hiking all day. These are the best socks I've tried so I gave them 5 stars.

Forged Socks

Have worn the Forged Socks on multiple scouting hikes so far this season. Varying mileage off trail in the Sierras, but all day in the boots experiences. Have run Smart Wool and Darn Tough in recent years. The Forged Socks are Superior. They do seem-feel thinner than comparable other brands, especially after the boots warm up, but are very comfortable and do not sag on the calf at all. Well Done Jay!!!

New Best Hunting Sock on the Market

Zero buyers remorse with these new socks. I wore a single for multiple days scouting earlier this summer, and they performed exceptionally well. Kept my feet from overheating when it was 90+ Fahrenheit and warm when the sun went down. Zero blisters or bunching up. I’ve used several other brands of socks over the years (which weren’t bad) and these are my new go-to’s. Do yourself a favor when you order some and buy at least three pairs. You’ll want them for your normal life as well.
